Why I Changed My Career Path to Nursing?

I earned my Bachelor’s of Science in Exercise Science with the intention of earning my Master’s of Science in Occupational Therapy. After graduating, I began working as a Patient Care Technician to build my resume and direct patient care experience. My role as a PCT has been both challenging and rewarding; mainly rewarding, thus leading me to pursue a Nursing degree. Moreover, I am attracted to the various areas of specialization and the scheduling flexibility. As a Nurse, you can work 9am to 5pm, morning shift, overnight, part time, full time, per diem, etc. Next, Lastly, there are plenty of opportunities all over the United States. No matter which military base my husband is assigned to, I know I can easily make my coin. Nursing is great for the “Military Wife Life”.
